51st Annual Student Art Show
As I was walking into the art show I first noticed the H-51 which seems as if it is a close up to a type of a flower. The medium that was used for this type of art was film. The subject of this photo is trying to capture life as it happens and to catch the beautiful colors that came from this life. This appealed to me because this photo is sort of a optical illusion, Its a picture of the inside of a flower and the center of it forms another flower on the inside. The next piece of art that I took a look at was DL-10 which seemed as if it were a type of hanna but on a large piece of canvas. The medium that was used for this artwork was a lead pencil. When I first looked at this art work it looked as if it were a titan holding a castle on his back, but as I looked closer I saw that it was actually a hermit crab with a castle on the back of it. It appealed to me because I feel as if everything was on my back all at once.

I too picked the photo H-51 from the art show. Something about it was just so captivating and drew me into the photo. This is a perfect example that a piece of art work can be seen in so many ways. When I look at this piece I see a small bird sitting in water and then bright colors reflecting off the water to make it almost look as if it’s a close- up of a flower. In a sense, I can understand what you were seeing in this piece but I feel if we able to zoom and look deeper into the picture we could better understand what we see.
